Camping in Minnesota

Camping in Minnesota in a land of 10,000 lakes. Enjoy the beauty that Minnesota displays from the lake shores of Superior to the southeastern bluffs of the mighty Mississippi. There are 72 state parks and 1 national park to visit in which you can learn about the culture, history, and geology of the area. Each park has it's own unique character that will appeal to the recreational or adventurer camper.

Sometimes it is nice to check out the other states and their park systems to see what they have to offer. Recently I viisted some state parks inTexas this spring. While there we hiked the trails, did some geocaching, a canoeing adventure in the bayou, and observed the wildlife. Of course, we took a lot of pictures that I am sharing here. Happy camping 2011!
